I had my PM9 out to the range as I have many times. After shooting several magazines of ammo. I pulled the trigger and nothing. The trigger goes all the way and the trigger reset returns it to the fire position but that is it. On returning home I tried to disassemble the gun but after taking out the slide stop I tried to remove the slide but I am unable to as I can't fire the pistol. I am guessing I am not the first to have this sort of failure as I assume one of the parts broke. Any info on how to get the slide off and find what is broken would be appreciated.

It isn’t one of those California compliant guns where you have to keep the mag inserted and pull the trigger to release the slide ...... just asking here !

Yes the slide seems to work as expected.

You might want to call Kahr technical for assistance & / or to see if the trigger might be disconnected requiring the cocking cam be rotated rearward with a bent paper clip from the rear hole to release the slide...

Good suggestion....... when you pull the trigger the little lever should lower allowing the slide to move forward .... you might as bill suggested see if a paper clip can push it down from the rear ?
