A P45 has been my EDC since 2009. My father is the one who turned me on to them, and the fellas at the gun shop did me right with the suggestion of this particular holster when I bought my first one. Still use the holster every day to this day....cept when I carry ol Blackie...the laser makes for an odd shape and a special holster....but the 721 OT is iron tough and comfortable. Could not recommend one any more highly.

This is an American Pride $29.00 dollar special with free shipping off of Amazon. Nothing special, but works as it should. I've narrowed it down to 2 different brands/models.

    1. Don Hume H721OT
    2. Brommeland DEF CON

Now I have to decide if the Brommeland is worth twice the price of the Don Hume.

Does anyone have some experience with the Brommeland brand holsters ?

Brommeland is a custom gun leather maker (now located in Tennessee) that has been around since 1984. His stuff looks very high quality, and the prices are more than I really wanted to spend. (The Def Con holster for my P45 in "service grade" is $150)

Would someone recommend an online dealer that sells Don Hume products, and might have a H721 OT for a Kahr P45 in stock ?

    Thanks in advance !

I met a local guy at a gun show, who makes holsters. He made me a shoulder rig for P45 for $160. I left my gun with him to be used as a pattern. What I'm trying to say, do not forget an option of going to a local guy. He may be able to turn a fine holster even if he does not have a blue P45.
