walked into my local small wal mart today and low and behold the fella was putting a 100 boxes of 50 round 147 grain WWB fmj ammo on the rack for $7.98. with my wifes discount it came to $7.19. limit was 6 boxes but I will go back this evening and buy 6 more as will my son and tomorrow alsol. that is the best price I have seen for 9mm 147 ammo anywhere. No 380 ammo at all.

Nice score! I was in the local GS this week and they had the PM9 in all black with factory night sites. I'll be damed if I wasnt tempted to drop 800 on it right there, but my wife would think i have a major problem (which i do!)

They had no 9mm ammo, so I decided to think about it for a while....

I have seen a lot of 9mm, 45 ACP and 223 in Northwest Louisiana for a couple of weeks. No 380 to speak of.

I would have had a tough time passing on the all black PM-9 myself- you have more will power than I do. I have a two tone with night sights (superb winter gun for me) but really would like the all black model.

kahrs dlc finish is about like the glock finish, you can't wear it off. I think the dlc kahrs are really super looking but again most of the gun shops that I go to if they stock kahrs they are the two tone. I don't know who does that finish work for kahr either, I am assuming they job that work out..

I can pick up 9mm at will, these days. I live about 4 miles from my local gun store.

The problem being that "at-will" means "at the will to pay double what I should".

I know that they aren't really screwing anyone, ad they have the cheapest prices of all the local stores, including Bass Pro, and Gander Mountain.

But I still feel like 16-19 dollars for 50 rounds of 9mm is too steep.

I have been buying it and sending it to my friends on the west coast, however. They have no bullets at all, and I can get them. Just not at 20 bucks/ 100 like I used to.

I sent my one friend 100 rounds yesterday.
