I just got back from the range after trying out four different brands of ammo. Here are the results:

Winchester whitebox Q4206 95 grain FMJ truncated ball - 100 rounds no problems 100%

Independence 90 grain FMJ ball - 100 rounds no problems 100%

Cor-Bon 90 grain JHP defense round - 40 rounds no problems 100%

Magtech 95 grain FMJ ball - 12 failure to feed out of 50 rounds. Unreliable and a hassle to shoot.

See photos of the boxes below.

I too have fired the magtec as its the only .380 ammo besides blazer with aluminum casing I could find as target ammo. I experienced a lot of misfeeds also and sent my P380 back to kahr and they deburred it as well as replaced the spring and extractor. I went back to the range with 100 rds of magtec and 20 rds of hornady critical defense and while I still experienced some misfeeds with the magtec, the hornady fired flawlessly. Your experience with magtec confirms my suspicions that magtec is not for use in the p380.

Does anyone know a website where I can buy .380 rds?
