Ammo w/ Less Recoil

I finally purchased a new Kahr p380 and absolutely love it! I took it to the range to start the breaking in process. I shot 150 rounds with ZERO issues. Anyways, I need your opinions/recommendations on ammo to buy that has less recoil. I shot 100 rounds of Winchester 115gr FMJ and it felt great. I shot 50 rounds with Remington 115gr FMJ and it was painful to shoot. The recoil was intolerable. I couldn't believe the perceived difference in recoil. I had my friend attest to the same to make sure it wasn't just me. For SD, I using Pow'RBall 70 gr. Anyways, any advice or recommendation on ammo for range shooting would be great. I hate to buy more Remington-like ammo (not fun to shoot) on a 380 gun.

Well that right there is your problem. Remington and Winchester only roll those bullet weights in 9mm.

I'm guessing that you meant the 95 grain FMJ loads from Rem and Win. If Win feels softer in recoil then just use them. Personally, I agree that the Rem FMJ loads feel much more stout in recoil than the equivalent Winchester offering. I use both depending on what I throw in the range bag.
You are correct. I meant 95 gr FMJ. Error on my part. So you noticed the difference in recoil too. I buy Winchester and Remington because it is cheap at Walmart.
