Another new 380 first range report
Greetings. Newbie Tuney here.
I picked up my new P380, black slide, night sites, yesterday. Cleaned and lubed per the lube diagram. Racked the slide about 100 times.
I know the recommendation is to rack the slide about 400 times but I couldn't wait. Went to the range today and fired off 49 rounds of Winchester white box USA380VP and a couple dozen Federal American Eagle.
I experienced two failure to feed, one failure to eject, and one slide refusal to lock open after the last round.
Considering the frustration some others have experienced, I don't feel too bad about these results.
