Apparently some breaking news (hint: it's exciting too)

The Firearm Guy has always been a big Kahr fan. Can't think of a better guy to break this, and to make the big reveal somewhere down the road. And from the sounds of it, it will be a short road.

Wow!.....it's about time. I was just thinking about this the other day (again and again). Why in hell doesn't Kahr jump into the double stack game? I KNOW this is good news for many folks. I can't wait!

Now- HE SAID - "other features". And apparently it's a big deal too. I am sure they will offer different sight systems including optics. BUT- if they do not address the trigger- it wont go very far. I know that long d/a trigger pull is considered a "safety feature"- and- that was a BIG deal- a few years ago. But most potential Kahr buyers do not like it. I am one of those.
Okay- I can not wait- Bring it on 😀

Here's a photo of the guy making you buy one... View attachment 17103
I don't think it will sell well in general and overall.
Well- I think gun-makers are waking up to Sig Sauer's success with the modular guns. Now all of a sudden- size, weight, capacity and trigger "really does" make a lot of difference to a lot of people.
The guy in the video does stress "other refinements"- other than double stack. I'm ready to see it!

Nothing on their web site as of March 2023. Are they making a "Kahr" double stack or something marketed under one of their other brand names? Whatever they come up with will likely be something of zero value to me. Another gun with an accessory rail, laser, red dot optics and a host of other "features"? Maybe a pink polymer frame. Wheel gun? 22LR?

Yup.. More of the same that 99% of gun owners will rather go with a Sig, S&W, Ruger, HK, Glock, Springfield, Taurus, etc version of. Plus whatever Kahr releases will be in the $600-$750 MSRP range which will be a non-starter for most folks. Justin Moon and Kahr are out of touch with reality and the market.
They are making a double-stack 9mm- with other refinements. Don't know when it will debut?

Got a link Higgy?
He's probably basing his comment off of one YouTube video from the FireArmGuy YouTube channel. Either way, it'll be DOA, and will barely sell.

No.....did watch the video above. I did call Kahr and talked to Justin. He told me they may be making an announcement In April at ?? NRA event I think? I specifically asked about 380- and he said 9mm first. If that goes well- then they will look at other calibers. No word what the "other enhancements' are.

Thank you Sir. My bet would be an optics plate. They're all the rage :) And if it meant them doing away with the rail that would be a plus, imo.

Thinking about it, the two biggest felt differences that Kahr brought to the table back when they introduced the K9 were its size, and the trigger. So now they're not going to beat everyone with size, but even if all they do is up the round count with a marginal increase in size they still have one of the best striker triggers out there. I'm a big fan of SA hammer fired guns these days but everytime I pull the trigger on one of my Kahrs I still love them for their great trigger. A 10+1 would be enough to put one of them back in my carry rotation.
The only other thing I would love to see would be an easier to rack slide, especially for my wife's sake. Oh, and a steel 45 :)

Well now?....he did mention something about a certain gun(?) would be great with a metal frame. Just don't remember which he was talking about?? I guess I wasn't paying attention after I found out there would be no double stack 380's.
Of course- "metal frame" don't mean steel.
