I was having a problem with my p380 failing to feed when chambering the initial round and also during regular fire. After 200 rounds of Hornady defense rounds & Fiocchi fmj I was still getting 8% failure to feed.

I sent the gun to Kahr and in one week had it back. They polished the extractor, slide stop, feed ramp and replaced the recoil spring.
I have not been to the range yet, but the action feel much smoother. I am able to chamber the first round without using the slide release, even with a full magazine.

I will keep you posted on how things go at the range....if i can find decent ammo ;)

You might want to check the OAL on the Fiocchi fmj rounds. The only round my P380 would not feed were Fiocchi 90gr. JHP and I came to the conclusion it was due to the longer AOL than the rest of the other name brand rounds used.

I went to the range this afternoon. Still shooting the fiocchi. The gun was much smoother today. The only time I had a problem was with chambering the first round with a full magazine. If I only load 5 it chambers fine.
I also let my fiance shoot and she had a couple failures to feed but it was her first time with a small DAO and I think she was limp wristing.
I need to find some different ammo and keep at it.

I was thinking, that if we can get a pearce grip extension (+1) I could load 6 and still have room to chamber the 1st round reliably.
Any thoughts on this?
