This is one of the biggest complaints but it does tend to get easier in time. You might want to try this if you are having problems (for starters make sure your gun is unloaded and then check again):

1. Remove the slide stop as you would normally.

2. Let the slide return to full battery.

3. With right index finger gently against the trigger, press your right thumb against the slide back (part #4).

4. With your right thumb push on slide back until it goes forward about a quarter of an inch and stops (hold it there), now press the trigger all the way, the slide should come right off the frame. Careful, it might even fly off.

Yes, this was giving me fits. I even watched the Kahr videos looking for some guidance on this. Nice to know I'm not the only one with this issue.

If you are right handed just reverse(L hand becomes R hand, R becomes L). Anyway, this technique works for me, 'can't guarantee it will work for everyone.

I have a different approach to solving this problem:

1. Remove the slide stop as you would normally.

2. Let the slide return to full battery.

3. Pull trigger.

4. Slide should now come off with ZERO resistance.

The above works for me every single time.
