·This is one of the biggest complaints but it does tend to get easier in time. You might want to try this if you are having problems (for starters make sure your gun is unloaded and then check again):
1. Remove the slide stop as you would normally.
2. Let the slide return to full battery.
3. With right index finger gently against the trigger, press your right thumb against the slide back (part #4).
4. With your right thumb push on slide back until it goes forward about a quarter of an inch and stops (hold it there), now press the trigger all the way, the slide should come right off the frame. Careful, it might even fly off.
