Got it home. Loaded up the mag with 6 rounds. Racked the slide and it engaged the slide stop. ??? No matter what I did, I couldn't charge the weapon. I tried several times.

Any guesses of what the problem is?

The spring that holds the slide stop down unless it is overcome by the mag follower may be under the slide stop instead of over it, or you slide stop is getting hit from the inside by the bullet.

If it only does it with ammo, it is the latter.

It does it when the mag is empty as well. But it's supposed to.

It won't do it with 5 in the mag, just 6.

Many people had this problem. Read through the posts and you will find your answer. You will see the problem easier if you pull off your slide reinstall slide stop and slowly insert full magazine. Either call Kahr or get out your file. I did both and have two slide stops that work.
