When you decide to buy a gun, new or used, what do you consider most important in choosing the one you will buy ?
Size, Weight, Caliber, Capacity, Looks, Features, Brand Loyality, Main Use, etc............

I scoured the net and Kahr IMHO was a contender right from the start due to its reputation. My wife immediately like the Black Rose Edition P380. I almost changed my mind because of people complaining about how hard it was to rack this gun. Anyway, I work in an office open to the public so Size and weight was a huge issue for me. I looked for quite a long time trying to find the right fit for my lifestyle. I almost purchased the LCP but fortunately for me the store also had a Kahr P380 in stock that I decided to look at. As soon as I picked it up I immediately knew that this was a whole different class of gun. Once I dry fired it and felt the trigger my next thought was how my wife was going to respond when I was considering a gun twice the price for the money we had allocated to spend. I had looked at the new Colt Mustang Pocket lite but it is going for near $800 in my area which is $200 over list price and I refuse to pay that much. I also considered a Sig P238 because they have some beautiful guns in that model but try to find one right now.

You are so right, compared to the Ruger and even the small Keltec the Kahr is in a class of its own. The Sig is a great gun, I had one also, equal to the Kahr in quality and shootability. But it is all metal and heavy for its size. Also single action, and really needs to be carried cocked and locked. For some that exceeds their comfort level. The Kahr is lighter of course and lends itself better to however you want to carry. And with its DAO trigger ( and a sweet one it is ) you can carry one in the pipe and not worry. When all is said and done you made a great choice, and as the old saying goes.......you get what you paid for !!!!!
