Just put the rat snake loads in it yesterday ...

Was on the back porch watching the wife water the maters, she stepped over to turn the water off and see this under the porch. From about 5' I gave it two body shots, it was trying to get away fast!! It came out from under the stairs and started to go under my house, I held it by it tail while the wife ran and got some tongs to pull it out.

PS it slowed down after the shots, way down! !!

It laid there nicely to take the pics and to finish it off with my belt buckle gun.

Unless the snake is a threat to my life, I never will bother a snake. Snakes keeps rats and mice away from my house.

Spiders too, I never harm a spider unless it builds it's home in an area I need to use. Spiders keeps bugs away from my living quarters.

Elephants? Well, my dogs keep them in check.

You know if I'd told my little old grandma I let a snake go, she'd made me pick a switch.

I do practice catch and release while fishing. My dad calls me "one of those sport fishermen"
