Yep... put a deposit down for one at B&H in Merritt Island Florida and got the call two days later that it was in. I went in to pick it up and they had two in. I wish I would have bought the other one too.

So what are your first impressions? Do you feel its superior to Kel-Tek and Ruger LPC hand down?

in one word - "HELL YES!" I'm a lucky boy and have the Kahr and the Ruger. The Kahr is built like a tank, but doesnt weigh more than the ruger. Still like the ruger - i have the CT Laser which makes an awesome addtion. But you can definately feel the quality of the Kahr. Worth the few hundred more bones in my case.

Heck nowadays a few hundred bucks is like a few boxes of ammo....

$599 + Tax and worth every penny!! I had a Kel-Tec and sold it to get this and never looked back. the Kel-Tec was not bad but no comparison to the Kahr.

Was at the range today and shot the Kahr, then the LCP back to back. Man, when you do that you really notice the difference in quality and also felt recoil. I did'nt think the LCP was uncomfortable until i shot it after the Kahr. The Kahr is much smoother and with less felt recoil. The LCP felt cramped (had the CT laser installed) and was much less pleasant to shoot.

Has me thinking about getting rid of the LCP and just sticking with the Kahr full time......

I know exactly what your saying. I gavemy lcp to my son, Still a nice gun that will go bang every time bu the kahr is a 5 carat diamond where as the lcp is maybe a 2 carat... accuracy, there is no comparison

As the old saying goes "you get what you paid for." the Kahr is definitely pricey but worth it. I will still have my P380 when the Kel-Tecs and LCP's are worn out.

Yes, bought mine at a LGS this past February. The first and only P380 they have gotten. Khar distribution seems a bit strange to me. Another gun shop that sells a lot of Khars has not gotten any. Maybe it is a Khar to distributer to LGS issue. Don't know, but do have mine and that right now is what counts.

Just bought one this last Saturday at Sportco in Fife, WA. They got 3 of them in on Friday afternoon.

One was put on hold just as I got there, I purchased #2 and #3 was still there when I left. I paid $521.55 for mine + $29.99 each for 3 additional magazines.

In retrospect, I should have purchased #3 while i was at it.

The funny thing was, I set out last Saturday looking to buy a Glock 26 and ended up with a P380.

Wow way to resurrect an old thread. Yes I bought 2 at 2 different gun shops. Great pistols!!!
