Help with disassembly CM9

Ok, so I'm new here and I hate that my first post is a problem but I just bought a CM9 to use as my EDC. I fired some rounds through it today and I must say that I love the gun. That being said, I returned home and began to disassemble so that I could clean and lube. I was able to remove the slide stop but when I went to pull the trigger and slide the slide off it will not go. It is forward about an 1/8th of an inch and will not budge. I also cannot get it lined up to put the slide stop back in. Not sure what to do now. Thanks for any help you can provide.

This can happen sometimes. Don't force the slide forward. Instead, give the slide a good whack back with your palm (from the muzzle end). It should slide back some and you can again pull the trigger and the slide should move forward so you can remove it. I hope this helps.
Howdy!!! Try pushing forward on the slide then pull the trigger.
without the pin the slide will only rack back to the marks unless you push down on the barrel hood.

Always make sure you get the pin in the under lug ramp area, or you will have a problem.

Also the end of the spring guide will be hard to start through its hole in the slide.

Hello there, Toney. Yeah, I'm a newbie here. Looking forward to being part of the community.
Ok I made mine stick wih the trigger pulled. If I push the hood down and rack the slide back far enough to reset the trigger I can start over with lightly pushing the slide toward and pulling the trigger.

I was able make it work. the guide rod was not lined up and that was causing part of the problem with starting over. Thanks for the help. I can't wait to put more rounds through this thing. I appreciate the quick responses.
Cool!!! I put 68 rounds through mine today, it shot really smooth after putting 50 through a hog leg.

You just gotta love that smooth trigger and action on a Kahr.
