still waiting. Perhaps my dealer has no priority. But three distributors tell him they haven't seen one. So if that's the truth, what's the holdup??
Any speculation why the P380's are so rare? Is Kahr short of ammo to test fire? Or are they doing a mod on the slide stop problem we've heard about? Or are they working on other guns that have higher profit?
Any of you gurus that know who to call at Kahr, have they said anything new and exciting?
Sure, there are a couple on gunbroker but I'm not going that route. Ordinary dealers ought to get some consideration too, not just the big shot online shops that then put what they get on gunbroker.
I bet the Taurus TCP 380 will be out soon and if it shows up at my dealer before the Kahr, I might reconsider the whole idea.

my guess gramps is that kahr is so far behind in all gun production right now that the P380 is coming out slower than they maybe want. They only employee less than 80 people, so kahr by most gun companies is very small. they make a ton of different models and probably alot of thier stuff is even vendored out to be produced. I have had on B. O. for over 2 months now extra magazine springs and magazine followers for my P380, Just wanted to have um around but so far, they are paid for but "no cigar".
I could never find one here in Indiana and still have not come across one fromthe two "big" dealers that I tried to work with even.
Who knows that tauruse might be a real sleeper to and be a great gun. I am anxious to see one myself, especially in the titaniumslide. but like the kahr, it willbe scarce to find sititng aorund also. taurus also makes a ton of guns for the market and dealer show cases are very bare compared to a year ago. When I go into gander mt (ug!!) and see guns spaced out about a foot apart that tells me something and when I see the entire top shelf with nothing but those god awful butt ugly PINK semi's by I think taurus,t hat also tells me something.
I had the sporting goods manager at our local wal mart tell me that about 2 months ago a gander mt employee came in and bought every round of semi ammo he had 380, 32, 40, 45 9mm. He said he didn't know it untl it was to late as an employee did the selling as he was off that day. believe it or not that is his story...
Come to Indiana gramps and you can shootmy P380 tillthe cows come home but bring ur own 380 ammo, there ain't none around here, and my 700 plus rondsa re iced down next to my Buds....
