I am new here and really looking forward to getting my hands on a Kahr P380. I just got my Permit to Carry and am needing a nice little pocket gun. I can get a LCP locally but I'm not a big fan of them...nice little gun but not nice on my hand. I may buy one to tide me over until my P380 arrives though. I ordered the P380 through a small local gunshop that never orders Kahr's so I'm a little concerned about how long it may take to get....the price is good at 529.00 but I don't want to wait 6 months. Anyone else have an experience like this? How long did it take you to get yours?

by the lcp, for that little dealer will never see a P380. Theya re very scarce to find anywhere. The bigger dealres get the most guns. he quopted u a fair price but he cold have quote dyou 4100 to, for IMO he will probalby never get one for a looong llooooong time. the lcp is a darn good little gun, I ahv eone of those to and it shoots good works perfect andis small as hell and it has tied me ove rujtil I found a P380 and by the way I had oneon order from 3 different bigger dealers in the Indianpolis, Ind. area and never ehqar drom them and called them every other day for many months, before I seen one posted on a gun forum for sale. I bought it and to this day I have still never heard from any of those 3 dealers.

I was considered a smalltime gun dealer for over 40 years and when the Model 60"s came oputint he early 70"s Hell I couldnever get one, and wen I was able to buy one,my distributer mademe buy 2 other Smith non sellers, dust catchers to sit n thegun case. The Smith 32 terriers come to mind back then, what a looser they were then.

by dumb luck i walked into my local gs and it was sitting in the case! I thought i would be waiting until the end of this year before i struck paydirt.

i think it it just one benefit of living in a relativly big city....with a gun shop that pushes a lot of volume.....
