Checked with Kahr today and they said the sights are removed left to right with the barrel pointed away from you. 
Installing XS Big Dot Sights
I have viewed the XS installation video for Big Dot sight kits and would like to know if anyone has removed the stock P380 stock sites and installed the XS sights with a special tool. The XS video suggests you can do it with drift punches and a protected vice.
