This is a FYI,
Since I always look at used stuff along with new I was wondering about Kahr's warranty. I sent Kahr an email and asked about their warranty if buying a one year old gun from the original owner. This the reply I got back to my email:

Good afternoon.

Kahr has a 5 year none transferable warranty. Should any firearm be outside these parameters the warranty will have expired and the gunsmith would need to inspect any firearm before work was performed. If charge was necessary a call with quote would be made before any work was performed.

Have a good day from Kahr.

I wouldn't be afraid to buy a used kahr. I would pull the slide and inspect it good.
Most pistols don't have that many rounds though them. My 32 maybe had 150rds. My cm has just had enough for a good break in.

Like you guys I wouldn't worry too much either. In fact my k9 I think is one of the NYC LEO's I think and it works and look new.

Couldn't disagree more. You buy the gun, you're stuck with it, even if it has a manufacturing defect (like poor fitting mags, incorrect feed ramp angle and incorrect follower angle to name a few). Hipoint, Keltec and Taurus will fix their guns. So, what does that say about kahr as a company?
