Saw a reference on another forum to the difficulty of carrying a Kahr mag loose in the pocket; the author complained that the rounds came out over time.
A good solution (and one that solves the even bigger problem of dirt and pocket lint; ever look a gun that's been pocket carried?) is to make a sleeve out of thin leather that will cover the mag.
Easiest thing is to make a thin cardstock pattern, and then transfer that to the leather. Assemble by making overlapping flaps on the side and the top, and then glue it together with contact cement.
It doesn't answer the question of a fast reload, but it does at least allow the carrying of an extra mag for some extra ammo if the chit ever hits the fan. All rounds will be in the mag, and the mag not clogged with lint.
I'm not aware of anyone making this product comercially.
I have got to figure out how to post pictures.

DM Bullard makes some excellent pocket mag carriers. Most of his pocket holsters include a free mag carrier. He makes really nice stuff that's very reasonably priced compared to many other makers. Can't say anything too positive about David's pocket holster package value for the money.

He sells the mag carriers as a stand alone item if you don't need a holster. They range from $18 to $20. The holster plus mag carrier is a much better deal at $48 for both.

First I've seen the mag holder; bunch prettier than mine, tho' a bit bulkier as well.
How well do the pocket holsters hide and ride? I have an Alabama Holster Company kydex on order for the Kahr; the LCP one presents a smooth face to the outside, while the more detailed fitting is to the inside.

Recluse also makes one much like the one in the pictures above. Don't know if its on his web site, but when I called to order my holster he told me about it. I think I remember him saying that he has a double and a single. I have the single and love it. Unlike the one in the photo above, the leather doesn't extend as high on the "front" side making it very easy to flick the magazine out with your thumb, yet still providing plenty of coverage and protection from pocket lint.

The pocket holsters hide and ride quite well. I don't bother with a spare mag most of the time with the P380. I forgot I had this picture of my previous p380 with CT.

It's very rare that I carry a spare mag. I just can't picture myself in a situation that requires a reload. If I do it's in this rig only and in a cargo pocket.

All that I can say about that is, I have never know someone that was in a fight complain about having too much ammo, and I have known a few!!

I have a pocket knife sheath on my belt that will hold a Kahr mag, a double-stack mag for other guns, or my large Victorinox Jumpmaster knife. I just swap in whatever is appropriate for what I'm doing. It has two snaps on the flap that allow for adjustment in the heigth needed to hold whatever is in it.

That ankle rig is a good idea Toney
