I have a MK9 "Elite 98" model which I bought new, quite a few years ago. I'm aware that a few years after 1998, Kahr came out with a newer model, I think called "Elite 03". I'm wondering what changes or improvements were made to warrant the name change. The "Elite" model had a brighter stainless finish, and supposedly a shorter, smoother trigger pull.

Welcome............originally the elite 98 had an improved trigger, internal fluff and buff treatment, and a polished finish. Later Kahr incorporated that improved trigger into all of their guns. The newer elite 03 is essentially the same gun, I believe with a beveled mag well added to it.

Thanks Ron54. You may be correct. I just checked, and I don't have a beveled mag well.
