I spotted several online MK9 holsters not badly priced. I'm wondering if the K9 would fit. I know the K9 slide length is longer as is the grip. The slide could protrude out of the holster if open.

Tried to delete but couldn't. I went to the Kahr site and compared sizes. .7 longer and .5 taller.

You know the muzzle sticking out of the holster is a no go for me. In the pants it can be uncomfortable, the front sight can lock the pistol in!!!
And it only took hearing my xd mussel drag on a concrete shooting bench once, and I never ever used it again!!!

The finish is tough on them xd!!!

Logged your comments and thanks. I wouldn't like either of those to happen.

The gunsmith that I use for my 1911's, works out of a large gun shop with a range. I was in there last week and he told me that all the guys that run / work the range have told him that the XD's they rent hold up better and have less problems than the Glocks. So I know they are well made guns............

Not yet but I've only looked every single leather holster that I could find on the net and all of the forums suggestions of holsters. That's all. <grin>
I'm looking pretty hard at a Ross holster, open top pancake. I don't know anything about them and have read very few comments about them. I still like it though. I've got probably 4-5 I'm thinking I'd like. The weight of the K9, I think, belongs on my belt OWB. At least until I get used to it. thanks for asking

I'm thinking Mitch Rosen 5JR-PRES-EXP or 5JR-EXP. Can't make up my mind. The PRES is sewn different than EXP and wears different from what they say. Any experience with these? Anybody?

A mild surprise. I have about 10 assorted holsters for S&W, cm9 and find several I can use for the K9. If the trigger cover wasn't bigger in the down direction it work on the others. Lovely. I'm still looking to get the Mitch Rosen though for that "perfect" fit.

Toney,
I just called Rosen taking a chance someone may working. No luck. I'm going to order the one you show, the PRES or the EXP. Wanted to ask them why one would be better than the other. They say the stitching on the PRES is perpendicular to the wearer and therefore comfortable in a shorter time. Also wanted to know how to delivery. I waiting 3 months a while back from a different dealer. No More.
Either one I think I'd be happy with.

Don't know but like you probably I would think they just pass the order on to the maker. Heck nobody wants to hold inventory for the customer anymore. I can't think of any reason why I shouldn't order from Mitch Rosen can you? Kahr may get a little $'s for providing a recommendation. I first saw them on the Kahr sight also.

I have a CW9 and a P380, both with CT lasers, and am left handed. I prefer Kydex and OWB carry. I am very satisfied and find that Chris, at Crown Holster (crownholsters.com) , is very responsive and cooperative, with reasonable pricing and wait times. I order them with the wings and soft loop option (so I can take the holster off without taking off the belt - major for lefties - or if you are in and out of the pistol free, aka no defense zones). The configuration described additionally allows wearing them IWB when a bit of fiddling with the soft straps, a very rarely used option for me.
