Just curious, does the Kahr p380 's slide "hang up" in the beginning like the Ruger LCP while racking it back? Or is it smooth through the whole cycle? My wife didn't really like that about the Ruger LCP.

if u try to manually rackthe slide on the P380 chances are it willhang up on u, Once you get 200 plus ronds down range, it will shoot in fine. USE THE SLIDE LOCK LEVER as the manual says and you willhave no issues. I think you willfidn the recoil springs on the 380 to be very strenghty to even rack the slide properly.

Grease up those rails and around the barrel and barrel lug and they jsut sit there and rack that slide as fast as u can (without magaazine) for about 500 times. This will certainly help breakin without the "bang" thing.

then just shoot it like u stole it. Best 380 you will ever shoot, trust me on that. this P380 just feels like a gun should and also one that u can shoot until the cows come home to.

Pay attention to the way the recoils prings goe sont he rod. Put it on backwards and it will cause ftf issues. again refer to kahrs manual.....
\Nice gun, enjoy it, most are still looking for one.....

I just called about 8 Walmarts in my surrounding area and not one had any 380 plinking rounds. I also called 5 local gun shops and they have nothing either. I did find one shop that has some Hornady 380 Critical Defence, but that stuff is $30 per 25 cartridges :p
I guess ill keep checking.....

Hmm, well that's a little surprising only because this particular shop is usually more expensive. Well im just glad he has it in stock, plus he's a good guy to deal with so im happy to fork over the cash to him.
