Picked up my new CM9 a few days ago, and with some trepidation managed to disassemble, clean, lube and reassemble the gun without messing it up.

I used a chopstick to hold the slide in the proper position to remove the slide stop pin, and to get the slide stop back in. Worked great.

My biggest problem was getting that recoil spring back in place.

One question though, my recoil spring and guide rod is one piece, the guide rod is not removable as shown in the Kahr takedown video. Is this how it comes with the CM9, or did I get the wrong recoil spring with my gun?

Thanks. So, am I correct that it is one assembly and the guide rod is not removable from the recoil spring?
I think the end unscrews to get the little spring off.
I think you will be pleased with your new baby! I am very fond of Kahr products and their customer service is great.
