Newly checked grips k9

I just have to show of my newly Skip Checkered grips for a K9. I personally like the"Skip Checkered" style better than sharp pointed checkering. Two reasons why: 1 Show off the grain more and highlights the wood with the larger flat triangles, 2 won't be so apt to abrade you skin while wearing in IBW. ( to help with abrade problem also the points were checkered "flat").

Very nice!!!!!! Did you do it?
Very nice bob.........
No I didn't. When I bought the gun this craftsman offered to checker it for me as an inducement. I jumped on it! A generous and talented craftsman indeed as you can see on his site.

Hello....... I am new to this site and can't figure out how to start a new thread! However, I am seeking checkered, wood grips for my new Kahr K-9. I have called Kahr 4 times and they send me to a voice mail. I leave my name and number, but no reply! Is there anywhere else I can get the checkered wood grips for my K-9?
AND if someone can tell me how to start a new thread, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
Be well,
Jeffro
Are you using Tapatalk or a PC on the thread online............

Jeffro.......I'll assume you are viewing the thread online as a web page..............then do as follows............at the top of the page there are choices, Home, Forum, Active Topics, Gallery..........if you click on the Forum choice it will take you to all the forums on the site. Then choose the forum that you want to post a new topic in or view, click on it to go there. Once in the forum, at the top left there is a red button to start a new topic in that forum, click on it and then title, and start your post...........
Hogue does make Kahrs grips Toney.................but they won't sell to an individual buyer. They don't even sell them to any other retailers, only Kahr.........so the only option is to buy them from Kahr. The guy xsailer bought his from, Bawanna is the only other source I'm aware of to get the grips from !!!
Ron54,
It worked as you said!! THANK YOU. I appreciate your help.

I may have mislead unintentionally about getting my grips. He did not furnish the grips for my k9. I had the existing wood grips on the k9 sent to him and he added the fine checkering. I believe though, after talking with him, that bawanna does make them if requested. Hope I'm not wrong but think he does. It won't hurt to email him thru his site as he doesn't talk on the phone because of hearing problems.
See his site on Post #4
