I have the Pachmayr grip on my 380 and really like it. I've just ordered the CT Laser and I'm wondering what people have done to make them work together. I'm think a little surgery with an xacto knife on the grip is in order. What do you all think? Some pictures would be nice to.

I haven't installed the laser as yet. It's due to be delivered today. I had forgotton about the Pachmayr grip when I ordered the laser and now I'm having second thoughts.

CT Laser showed up today. I found that if I pull the Pachmayr grip down just a little bit (about 1/16"), the laser will fit on over the grip. The rubber of the grip compresses enough that with just a little gentle persuasion to get the laser onto the trigger guard, it fits just fine. The button part of the laser button lines up just above the hump in the Pachmayr. (The little rise / hump that fits between your fingers.) I didn't have to force anything enough to take a chance of breaking something. The feel and fit of the Pachmayer is almost identical with or without the laser. FWIW, the laser lines up beautifully with the sights at about 30 feet. Now I've got to get to the range to confirm the sighting.

Thanks for your comments / questions.
