How many out there love their PM9????? I have 18,700 rounds through my PM9 and the only issue I have had was a cracked follower and I didn't even know it was cracked until I tolk the magazine apart to clean it.

Can't say thatI can drive nails with it but it is extremely acucrate with my Big Dot nite site son it at 10 yards and under.

I have done alot of custom work to my PM9, some by cylinder and slide and alot by accurate-iron.com.

Barrel and slide ported by Magna-port. One of the sweetest semi's I ahve ever owned and it is my 24/7 carry peace.

I want a P380 and I know not why either, as it will not replace my PM9 for front pocket carry, but it is the little brother to the PM9.

My kahr K9 with about 4000 rounds down range is a real shooter also. Just to heavy to carry but one hell of a nice range and home defense gun. I have the 5# wolffs striker spring in both of my kahrs...

I am so looking forward to owning a P380,. I will shoot it like I stole it to. These guns can take the rounds, I have no doubt about that....

I love my PM9! But it has had only about 200rds put through it so far so it is still on probation in my eyes. But I'm completely satisfied as of now!
I've got about 1000 rounds down range with mine. It's usually my EDC in the colder months of the year either IWB or in my Sig Concealed Carry Jacket. They are great pistols.
Well, after walking away from a PM9 the other day, I returned to Sportsmans Warehouse today and there it was - still - waiting for me.

So I am the proud new owner of a PM9094 (all black).

I took it to the range this afternoon. 150 rounds down range. Absolutely no problems. Recoil is very manageable. I started shooting low and left - ended the day shooting a bit left.

My hand is a bit sore from the rough surface on the back strap, but, I'll either get a grip cover or toughen up...

Congrats Dave. You've got the big brother of the P380. :)

But no gun should be an only child.

what shall I name it ??? ???
Jocko,

After 18,700 rounds you must know a thing or three about the PM9!

How often do you clean it and with what?

What do you shoot for practice?

What do you carry?

Thanks,

Dave

19,000 now and I clean it with 3M (black can) high pressure non cholornated brake cleaner from NAPA. regular bore cleanes work great. I grease the rails with TW25B synthetic grease (Mil-comm.com) I use their synthetic spray lubricant to service the lower section. I clean it every 200 rounds because i carry it 24/7. I shoot WWB 100 pak from wal-mart, lowest priced fmj I can find. It shoots great and not a dirty round either.

My mags are loaded with Speer gold dots 124 grain. Also love the 115 grain dpx .. Also have a K9 which I don'tshoot as much but is a great shooter and a G19 and a M & P 9 that allget the same type of service.

I hve not doubts my PM9 wopuld go 1000 rounds without cleaning but WHY??? I am retired and time is on my side. I service my two harleys also, just because I can and have been a retired gun dealer of over 40 years. A clean gun is a happy gun.

I am going to have to send my PM9 back to kahr, It now has 22,500 rounds through it and it has not malfunctioned yet. something has to be wrong, for if u read some of the comments from NON OWNERS of kahrs they ::are very problematic. Maybe kahr can trouble shoot my problems with the POS gun. ::) ::)

ROFLMAO, I am happy to see this though. My p380 is so much easier and just as accurate than my sig, that I got a pm9 about a month ago to replace the sig. 800 rds on the pm9 with no probs.

Marty
Marty: sendf it back there is something wrong with it. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Listen to allthe non owners of kahrs, they seem to know all the answers..

Any way you could please post some pics of your PM9 with the Big Dot sights? I have a crossbreed minituck that I carry it in now....how much higher does that big front dot sit than the stock sight, if any higher at all? I love my PM9, and should have ordered the crossbreed with the crimson trace laser guard mold, but since I already have it, I'm thinking I'll just try the XS sight system. Thanks!!
