You know I was stupid enough to swap it of once!!! I got it back and it's never going anywhere again!!!!!!!
...along with great ammo availability & a lower cost per round fired = performance value!.........
That was the exact reason my best friend gave during the ammo shortage...there was always .270 on the shelf & don't give up much of anything shooting it...makes sense!I wanted to like the 300mag, but really you don't gain the much from all that extra powder and it's just silly not being able to load a whole box of bullets with one pound of powder...
It was kinda weird that even when all the shotgun ammo was off the shelf at Walmart there was a couple lonely boxes of 270 in the ammo case.
My rifle has only fired 6 factory rounds since I've owned it, I wanted to see how the 130gr factory rds did if I ever had to get some, and I wanted to try the 150gr rounds.
The 30-06 and .270 will kill anything that walks this continent and do it quite well. :highly_amused:That was the exact reason my best friend gave during the ammo shortage...there was always .270 on the shelf & don't give up much of anything shooting it...makes sense!![]()
