Replacement Slide Lock - Faulty?

Last week I purchased a new P380 and had quite a few failures with premature slide locking open after many rounds. Kahr sent out a replacement, however the replacement slide lock happens to spin freely around its pin. None of my other Kahr's do this. I can see that the CW series would be unable to do this due to the slide lock being mim. But my K and PM series are the same as the P380 (2 piece). So, what say you? By the way, the new slide lock also locks up prematurely also. To me, it seems all they have to do is to file (shorten) the piece that the mag follower hits when it runs out of ammo and trips the slide lock to lock the slide to the open position. :(

being u have now two slide stop lever, indeed get a small fine file and work that inside down just a tad. At best u willruin the lever but u have a spare, If u take ur time, u can do the mod with no problem. just keep inserting a loaded magazine after each little filing operation to see how it odes. It is ok if it brushs that lever but should not be moving it at all.

as far as that pin on the slide stop lever turning, that is super. Now that lever is free as a bird to move, Mine is like that on my PM9 and I love it. I have a spare that would not do it, so I chucked it up in my drill and just spun it a fun times and now it is free also. Think about it, before that magazine follower was actually lifting/turning the entire slide stop lever, pin and all, now it is just lifting up the lever only. I have never stated that before, for I don't want owners trying to do what mine did, as the way they are made, they will work perfect also. The PM slide stops are forged/machine. The CW slide stop levers are MIM parts. both work just as good but the CW is one peace.

What rounds are hitting your slide stop lever??/My P380 has trouble with the 102 golden sabre but everything else works OK.

PM sent..
