Springfield XDS 9 & 45 Recall
Springfield has announced a recall of their XDS pistols due to a potential hazard. There have been some issues with the gun discharging a round when racking the slide to chamber a round. Also when firing, the gun has fired a second round with a single trigger pull. You can find out if your gun is in the recall by going to Springfields site and entering the serial number in their recall area, and it will advise you how to go about sending your gun in to be fixed if it applies to you.......

I read one case where a guy on the springfield xd forum had his gun go full auto on him...........lucky no one including himself was hurt !!!
Can you imagine pulling the trigger and ripping off the whole mag without expecting it...................holy crap.......
And dammit mine is in the recall..............
I'm going back home tomorrow, I'll have to send it in on Tues since Mon is a holiday. I wonder how long it will take to get it back............
I'm lucky, I have other guns I can carry...........what about the folks that have just that one..........I feel sorry for them..........not everyone has multiple guns for carry use.........
I don't go anywhere without bug and a mouse! !!!
