These rigs are not for the traditionalist, but they work for me. My criteria are pretty simple.

1) Square it off to reduce the print.
2) Keep it oriented properly.
3) Xtra mag option
4) Everything must fit in one pocket.
5) Add little bulk.
6) Add little weight.

The PM9 is a cargo pocket only package. It's just too big for a front pocket. The p380 works well in standard front pockets. They are from Stellar Rigs.

i really like the design of the Stellar Rigs holster. I will probable be picking one up in the near future.

Can you explain what the surface finish is like? I always worry about pocket holsters slipping out of the pocket when seated.

I feel like they should of lowered the nose of the gun a little to make it more compact.

There was something I wanted to add and forgot. If you are going for the same P380 rig, don't spend the extra for the model C with the adjustable chicago screw. Go with the B model. The rig is so small that the screw is fully tight and any looser adjustment would be too loose. The adjustable screw really isn't a workable addition.

The A model has a lower snout down placement as it's not necessary to have finger clearance between mag baseplate and pistol grip. That might be the model you want.

These guys are slick, but with the width they won't be falling out of my pockets even if I start cartwheeling and handstands. Maybe a handstand could get it to fall out of my cargo pocket. If you are really concerned about this, ask about the C10 material. Supposedly, it's like G10 texture and should eliminate any concern about slipping around in your pocket, but it might be hard on the pocket material. I would call and inquire before ordering.

the one pictured takes up to much pocket space. no way it will fit in jeans like he stated. The PM9 is pocketable with the right pocket holster...

Hi again Jocko. Second time today you seem to be calling me out. That's fair as long as I can defend my original post.

I am unaware of a pocket holster that's much smaller than the Desantis Nemesis. Maybe a custom wet fitted rig, but I don't have one available so the Nemesis will have to do. PM9 in Nemesis in the photo below. You are correct, that this can be carried front pocket. I choose not to, as I want a spare magazine.

My Stellar P380 resting on top of the PM9 in the Nemesis. Bottom right corners meet and right edges are parallel. Hmm...seems that the Stellar is actually a smaller footprint than the PM9. Following your logic, I guess I can carry this in my jeans pocket since it's smaller than the PM9.

As I stated in my title. These work for me. Your mileage my vary.

Guys, not to worry. My feeling about holsters is that the best one, is the one that's best for you. Beyond that nothing really matters. Holsters are a very personal thing and their comfort, functionality are largely a factor of your built and choice of clothing. I have yet to find a holster that is truly universal in appeal. I wear a mix of loose fitting, tight fitting, no fitting pants, shirts out, shirts in, no shirt at all (yech say the girls) and choose my holster accordingly.

Lewji, Jocko is a pussycat. The only one he truly calls out on a regular basis is ME! You are among kindred spiritshere. It's all good amigo. Sometimes we just disagree. Enjoy:)

I guess if ur referring to the P380 in the stellar rig as pocketable, it sure looks so. I just doubt a PM9 in a stellar rig will fit near as good as the nemesis. Not calling you out, but if it bothers you, just ignore my posts. Not a big deal for me either way.

ur last sentence hit the nail on the head IMO. wasted lost space IMO, but possably had to be that way for the spart magazine to fit alsofir it u notice the magazine goes to the bottom where as the gun does not. Maybe their gun only model does what your suggesting. I"ll stick with my trusty ol nemesis, conforms perfectly and carry fine, prints little. again this is a paranoia thing for pocket carriers. NO ONE is looking in that area at u anyway. ask yourself that question. how many people do you see and do you go right to their pocket area with youreyes and if they are walking or moving at all, u could not tell what they had in their pocket anyhow. Becuase we carryt here, we seem to think everyone is noticing and the fact that we know we have agun in our pocket and indeed it can print somewhat, no one is looking or assuming what you are carrying either. I drink coffee with 3 or 4 state troopers biker friends and have for 4 years and I carry my PM9 in my jeans front pocket and they have never ever noticed. I think we make to much out of nothing IMO..
