Well, I had some good luck at the casino. Picked up a few hundred. Been wanting to buy a computer lately, so I went ahead got one this afternoon. Finally got it all set up. Dumped the windows and put Ubuntu on it. I don't like windows.
Now if we can just dry out...

Morning.......another sunny day. The yard is mostly dried up.
Trying out this desktop, it's different from a laptop. I'll get the hang of it eventually.
Agatha wants to go out and look at paneling and fixtures for her shed- so, guess it might be a long day. Looking on the bright side- when we go out shopping...we usually eat out. That's usually a good thing.

Morning.....cool chilly day. Water is all evaporated in my yard. Have a couple neighbors who still have a little. Looking for 45 tonight! Thats kind cool for the Alabama coast in late April. But I know summer is just around the corner.
Still shopping for crap fro Agatha's shed. Had an electrician out yesterday to give us a quote on cost to get power to it and wire it. Haven't got the # yet. I'm afraid it might be more than we planned. We'll make it though....
Hope yall enjoy this nice weather.....and ignore all that sh!t you see in the news- or else you'll stay pizzed 24/7.

Good morning...... work later..... temp is in the 40s, so not too cold ..... coffee on tap ...... I broke down and bought on of those single cup brewers because I was wasting a lot of coffee brewing a small pot just to have a cup or two in the morning..... plus it was a pain for me to set up the coffee maker everyday, this way I fill the tank once every few days and pop a k cup in and it’s good to go..... I got a machine that can be set to brew an extra hot cup of whatever I like to make..... plus being able to make any other type of hot beverages like tea or cocoa is a big plus.....

Morning......can't believe it's been 4 days since I checked in. Been a little busy with shed, garden, Dr. apts, and other bs.
Having a hard time getting someone to do the wiring on Agatha's shed. Got one more bid due in soon, then if it's not in the ball park- i think we may look at doing the work ourselves and then get an electrician to tie in the power? Apparently all the contractors are still busy from the storms from last year. Just take a trip to Lowes or Home Depot....you can't hardly get around in there- too many people.

You can do the bulk of the work yourself...... if you want power out there for lighting or a power tool etc..... get a length of exterior burial cable and run it from your power box to the shed .... you don’t have to dig down deep for the run about a foot should be good ...... then connect an outlet and light in the shed using a junction box to divide the wire into the sections needed in the shed...... you can even buy a breaker and connect the hot wire to it and the ground and common wires to the appropriate connections in your breaker panel, the breaker should just snap into place ..... it’s not that difficult as I’ve done it before myself for an outdoor run to a pool filter some years ago ..... since it’s outside you may want to use a ground fault outlet or ground fault breaker .....
