Morning...was in the low 70's yesterday then spitting snow around town & now clear & in the mid 20's - did manage to find shelter from the high wind yesterday to get that gar session in while watching the USA soccer match...only thing on the schedule today is a late morning doc appt. to discuss any findings from the blood draw Monday - foot has improved some finally...the foot swelling has only occurred between late Oct. & early April over the years...

Morning....well we got some rain- and wind. No damage here, but quiet a bit to the north. Other than loss of sleep- we came out good. Looks like we may have an easy day....think I'll just find a project to work on. As soon as it dries up- think I'll try to do a range trip....

Morning...25 heading into the low 50's - would like to get in a gar session but high wind is expected which could put off this activity...doc ordered another blood draw yesterday to run another test since a test showed a slightly elevated RA Factor...the doc, & myself, think it's unlikely but all possibilities are being looked at...no other problems showed on the tests...foot still swollen & painful but improved only needing a cane or 1 crutch to hobble around...out for pickleball...

Morning...cloudy & 50 with high wind potential...didn't get that gar session in & may not today due to the wind...need a nice day to change out the water & clean the hot tub...ankle & foot has improved but still swollen & have to use a cane / crutch...

Morning.....cool 50's. May run out and finish up the Christmas shopping today?
Still haven't finished that LCP Max spring swap. I may try to start that up again- i have already forgotten where I was. It will be a trip. Need to fire that back up - while I don't have grandkids around.
Looking forward to Sunday- birthday bash at the casino. Maybe it's my time to win something???

Morning...did manage to get in a short gar session yesterday despite the wind...the wind died down some but still cold at 32 with the temp not increasing much during the day...not much going on today except to get a haircut - able to walk / hobble without a cane / crutch now with the swelling down more - typical on timeframe...

Morning...got some fog but supposed to warm up to around 60...may perform a water changeout on the hot tub, get some Christmas lawn ornaments put out, get a gar session in & then grill hamburgers for dinner...

Morning......looks like I missed a couple days. Went to the Birthday Bash yesterday- had a pretty good time and actually hit a couple good wins early on- but eventually gave it back to them. Best time I have had in a while-all inclusive I may have spent $100. Agatha did much worse. We will have to work on out strategy.
Did get that Ruger Max back together- finally....what a freakin' trip! Will test it next couple days. That's done and that will be the end of that bs.
Pulled out several of my older guns from the safe. I guess I need to really give them a look over-and try and figure out what I can get rid of. Some have already been promised- some probably should just go- others may can be traded into something else. Main thing- I need to clean out the junk. Don't need to leave a peice of junk for someone.
Getting ready for a 'different' Christmas. We'll keep #2 grand daughter for a week while her parents are up in the NE- Boston? Then they will return to B'ham area near Oak Mt park and we'll drive up and spend Christmas there in the park.
1st time I have ever done anything like this...hope it works out

Morning.....nursing my last cup. Gonna get up and shave/shower eventually. Was kinda thinking about a range trip....but its already 10 oclock. I guess I miss so much nowadays because I sit on my butt all day. I need to get up and move around- think my heart can handle it since that last procedure and adj on my PM. I think the real problem is "lazy". I gotta figure out how to overcome that. Okay- I'll try to put some effort into overcoming......lazy.

Morning...well, the only thing on my list I got done yesterday was going to the store & grilling hamburgers - it was just too wet from the fog to do the tub & put out the lawn ornaments plus the 100% humidity wasn't conducive for a gar session....was hoping to get all of this done today before the rain comes in but it's not looking like it will dry up enough...will see this afternoon...

Good early morning….. 45 and rainy….. drinking a cup of Italian roast trying to wake up….. work in an hour ….. going to a tree farm on Saturday to cut a Xmas tree for my son and if I can find a small enough one for me …… it’s a cool experience !

Morning...40's with temp not moving much before the rain moves in later...lit the firepit yesterday & performed maintenance with a water changeout on the hot tub - 3700 GPH submersible pump really speeds up the drain process...did get that gar session in next to the firepit to relax before a late dinner...not doing anything today before the rain...foot swelling has really improved but the 2nd toe is now swollen some...blood tests came back fine as expected & docs still scratching their heads...

Afternoon..........got in a range trip this morn. Wanted to run the Ruger through it's paces since the spring kit debacle. It ran fine. Definitely not the most pleasant shooter- but it worked fine.
Also took the 380 Sig (365) along....always a pleasure to shoot that gun. It is one smooth shooter- probably now my #1 favorite.
Been seriously thinking about cleaning out my gun locker. Have a few that I will definitely hand down in the family, but have some that I probably should get rid of. May plan that soon.
Well- today is Dec 7.....guess than means all the medicare/ insurance phone calls will probably stop. I must have got a thousand of them. Thankfully my google call screen got most of them.

Afternoon...yesterday was an experience in that I did have to get out with the wife to handle some bank business dealing with a trainee that took a long time but finally worked out then went to get a watch battery & then to a couple of stores but a detour to the nearby tire shop was called for to remove a screw from the tire...can't say enough for Discount Tire making the repair & rebalancing at N/C - had bought a set of tires for the other Ru several weeks ago & advised me that I was now family...otherwise, just receiving shipments including a pkg for a next door neighbor & packed up my old Teva sandals+ to ship back for recycling with the 2 new pair that arrived...maybe I'll put together my granddaughter's bike for Christmas tonight...maybe...no pickleball again today - maybe next week if the foot allows...
