todays post, rant or whatever!!!!

Good late evening….. weather here for the last week has been really cold to just cold, freezing rain and light snow …… work has been tight on help and I’m getting my a$$ kicked most mornings now, not fun ….. have a ct scan coming up on Monday…. We’ll see how that goes ?

Afternoon- rain all night and all day- supposed to be clear tomorrow and next day- then start again...kinda miserable.
Well- #1 & 3 came in last light for the weekend, and #2 is supposed to come visit them. It might get a little crowded- and can't go out! We'll figure it out. Video games for now.....
Still waiting to hear something about the new Kahr pistol....I am ready for it. Oh well- y'all have a nice day-

Morning- gosh what a beautiful day out there. 45 now and expecting 65 with a low of 36 tonight. Would be a good range day if it weren't Sunday. It will be so crowded- probably every lane will be occupied. No thanks-I do not like to be around when the range is full of inexperienced folks. I'll wait.

Morning...it's going to be another nice day with the temp climbing into the low 60's...did get that gar session in yesterday after I managed to remove toslink terminal connector pieces from inside the port of my Denon receiver by very carefully using a nut pick - the cable was never stressed over many years & the connector just crumbled & fell out. Fortunately, the port dust flap nor the port were damaged - tested it with another optical cable. Not much otherwise except sit back & watch the big game tonight - had thought about mulching some leaves down before the lawn service applies some preemergent tomorrow but it's supposed to rain so it should soak in okay...

Morning...supposed to get into the 60's again - "may" try to mow / mulch leaves before the lawn service arrives to put down pre-emergent on the yard...

Morning.....sun shinning- nice out. Looks like a sit around day. Gosh- I'm lost...thought today was Sunday?-I coulda went to the range. Guess I may look at tomorrow. Just can not do the weekend- too many folks.
I'll get it together one day?.... enjoy the pretty weather

Morning...did decide to mulch leaves yesterday before the lawn service & rain moved through - don't have to water the fertilizer & pre-emergent in now...pickleball this afternoon then the wife & I plan to go out to eat BBQ for dinner...

Good late evening…… it has been generally nice out for a change …… busy at work and sometimes crazy …. Supposed to be moderate temperatures the rest of this week ….. can’t wait till this winter is over !!

Morning...supposed to get into the mid 60's so some team members are getting together for lunch then change locations to play some cornhole...yep, ready for spring but not the yardwork...

Morning.....finally made the move- went to the range. Took my Sig 365's 9/380 and my Ruger LCP Max.
Also took some new ammo I purchased "on sale". Norma JHP, now i know why it was on sale!
The Sigs ran it fine no issues, but the Ruger stumbled about 1/3 of the shots. Just would not feed it- they were all "fail to go into battery" and all with the same mag. So- I'll just shoot this stuff up at the range. It was about $8 box- should have known better? Bought 8 boxes left...... I'll just burn 2 or 3 each trip.
Unfortunatly my trip was short- i quit early as there were more folks there than normal for a week day- usually empty. Seems like every 5 minutes someone would call the range cold. I couldn't even reload my mags. Better luck next time.
Thats it for me for a while....still anxious for Kahr to tell what they have coming out. I'm ready for a compact double stack 380.

Morning......quiet and peaceful around here this am. A little windy out- and storms on the way. May be in for a rough day. Will go out and pick up #2 g/k a little later. Got a little more that 2 more weeks of this and she will be back in school.
Kinda enjoyed my short range trip yesterday....I need to do that more often. Only costs $21 and that includes 3 large paper targets. Just a good deal- especially when no one is there.
Oh well.....have a good day.

Morning...storms moved through last night but left the clouds & cold & it won't make it out of the 30's...pickleball today...sometime I need to hit the range - need to get my Rem Nylon 66 sighted in after the gunsmith re-repaired the sight after he went through it & then cerakoted it...would really like to take the heavy barrel out but it's getting a lot more expensive to shoot - primarily use Federal Gold Medal Sierra MatchKing...

Morning...in the 20's & no warmup around 70 until next week...lunch & gar session planned with a friend today...

Morning....lucked out on the storms. Lots of wind, little rain- but no damage in sight. Haven't seen the news yet- so may have had issues farther inland.
No big plans. Will take #2 g/k to a read/write class this afternoon- then home. Then I have no idea what the weekend brings? Will stay out of town for sure as this is the last few days or Mardi Gras. Should be a wild few days.
I believe I have come to decision on my Ruger LCP Max. It is slightly smaller and lighter than the P365- but really ....kind of a pain to shoot. Think I'll just box it up and hold til i find something to trade it on. Hopefully - Karh will come on out with their double stacks soon. We'll see.
Oh well.....about time to move on. #2 has informed me she is ready for my computer .

Morning......looks like near 8-10 days or pretty weather ahead. May try to get another range day in?
No company today of tomorrow- don't know what she may decide to do? May be an easy weekend. I know we need to do a grocery run. Blue Bell is getting low.
There seems to be a slight uptick in older folks getting covid. Been hearing about that locally- and on a couple forums i hear it too. Hope that don't get out of control.
Oh well....be cautious old folks!

Morning...8 lb jar of popcorn I bought was misfilled with the wrong seed type & will have to return today...other than that I'm researching specs for a new laptop to replace a 12+ year old i7 Dell M4500 that's served its purpose...

Agatha has win on her laptop-and it's a touch screen- I refuse to even touch it. Guess I'm just too old school- hah!

8 lb jar of butterfly popcorn seed - few hulls when eaten & due to its size, it flies well out of my old Presto air popper or put in my old popcorn stir pan with oil...buy it at a popcorn store & though it's gone up in price, it's still a bargain for under $13...
Yeah, the M4500 still runs, updates properly & can still watch shows on it if I give it some time to load before it can be used...bought a gaming laptop heavily discounted running an Intel i9--12900H 14 core processor, 16GB ram but only has a 1 TB SSD, GeForce RTX 3070 Ti card but no 4k screen...really more than I need now since I don't participate in online games anymore or for business but it buys me time on having to replace it & it gives me another option for digital photo editing & quicker file transfers, backups, etc...yeah, no touch screens for me unless it's my cell...
