Morning......yeah- have access to my computer this morn! Sippin on my last cup. Kinda draggin' it out. We took the granddaughter over to her school yesterday to do her last catch-up math class. All went well and she is officially back in school starting Monday! Now, look forward to getting back to normal around here.
#1 son came in late last night- yeah! Now I don't have to baby-sit the animals next door. The job he was on finished, and a local company wants him to start right away. Local works good for us! :giggle:

Range trip soon...........(y)

Morning......rain on the way. Supposed to be with us most of the day. It's just a lay low day for us. Agatha is freaked out by rain. As long as she is in the house- no problem. If she is in the car- just goes bananas o_O . It's a trip for sure.
Will take both cars out tomorrow morn and get both washed and cleaned up. They need it.
Have a Dr apt with gastro doc tomorrow afternoon. Really a follow-up. Been on a double dose of anti-acid for 2 years now Omeprozole in the am and Fometidine at bed time. Haven't had any issues that I can remember this whole year. No reflux- it's been good. I suspect- they will either reduce my dose (40 mg each) or cut it out. I was plagued by that most of my adult life- saw many drs but no relief. Its all good now.
Have a good day.........:giggle:

Morning.........looks like a pretty day. Will probably need a good one- as problems cropped up next door. Had a lightening strike. #1 son lost his internet. Looking for a burned wire -he was in the attic poking around- as the cable goes across the attic. He notices a large dark spot on the insulation over a room he rarely uses. When he came down he opened the door and sees the ceiling with a big bow in it. SO- apparently the wind had lifted some roofing tiles and the rain blew in sideways- and found an entry point. Not good. Looks like we'll have a roof patch to do. Well- not me, but maybe we can get #2 to come help #1. Will have to patch for now- then maybe plan a replacement in sections when they have off-days. Crap!
Well the grandson came in last night for spring break. Will enjoy him for a while. He is the only male left with the family name that may possible have children (some day?) Like in the Star Wars movie- we call him "the Chosen One".
Oh well.....Got dr apt today...and we need to start looking at that roof

Morning.............home alone. Guess i'll go load the dishwasher? Ha.....might finally get that car was in today. We'll see- #1 son came in early yesterday and cut the grass-as he usually does. Thank goodness for that. Do need to get al little trim work done. The gas weed eaters are a little too much for me- but Agatha has a small battery operated one that she takes up to the cemetery when she cleans the graves. That may work better? I'll get there....
I saw a guy on another forum- bought a new 23 CRV. 2nd day he had it- went to the movie. When he came out- 2 windows were broken and all 4 wheels gone. What a bummer. That was in Massachusetts. Of course- it could happen anywhere.
Oh well- have a good day!

Afternoon.......had a busy morning. Went with Agatha to her dr apt. Man it did drag out.....took 2 hours! Got lots of rain on the way.....so I'll just sit here and watch it. About ready to plan a range trip. I'll just pick a day and put it on the calendar- then I'll have an excuse. Hey- that's a good idea.
Had the grandson here for a few days- he'll leave this weekend. Don't get to see him much. Always enjoy the visits.
#1 son got a call from a 'local' company (thank goodness)- they have a 40 day project an need his skills. When he went in for interview- they asked him if he was interested in a full time job! Thats really good. The end of traveling for work.

OOOPS!!!!Rain is almost here!

Afternoon...arranged with a contractor to grind / fill cracks & apply epoxy and polyaspartic coating to the garage floor. The garage will need to be repainted before the work begins so I'll get to move the fridge, racks, shelving, tools, etc, while the wife paints - I detest painting. This will force us to reorganize the garage at the least with the potential to add new slatwall, track rails or other storage solutions...

Good evening…. Been a rough week as Tuesday and Wednesday we got over a foot and a half….. a good friend lost power for 3 days and stayed with me till this evening. Many lost power due to down lines for several days as well. The Doctor put me on insulin for my diabetes…. So now I get to shoot up every night…. Yuk. I’m looking into getting one of those constant read meters so I can track my sugar levels throughout the day. Just more shite seems to come about these days. I really need to watch my diet more closely now…. Ouch …. And I love the sweets and junk food…

Morning...sounds like it on being a tough week, Ron & injections wouldn't be a pleasant way to end the day!
Despite it being in the low 40's, the wind died down so I was able to light the firepit to get a gar session in with an Oliva MB3 Churchill Maduro...supposed to get down to around 20 or so tonight & staying cool until mid next week which will delay the painting side of the garage project...

Morning.... wish you good luck on that diabetes there Ron- I know it must be a real pita. My dad was diabetic. But his was not real severe as he could manage it with the shots- and he was a lot like me- 'fumble fingers". But he drug it out to near 94!
Well we nearly got washed away yesterday- but we made it. Man that was some storm. Lots of folks around had some damage- but we came out good. Man- if I ever build another house or buy another one- I think I'll have the trees removed 1st thing. I live in an old pecan orchard and have one old tree within striking distance of the house. My neighbor has 2 can can reach me. They are costly to remove! I remember the good ole days of $500-$750 to get a tree removed- but now it is redicoulas. Neighbor across the street had one removed and one trimmed a couple years ago and it was just over $4,000! -Ouch!
Oh well.....looks like the sun is trying to come out. I believe I am ready for summer. I like summer (with a/c).
