Don't reallly do New Years resolutions but thinking of these actions:
Ammo? 9's, 45's, 22's I hope they show up on shelves. Every since I bought my CM they've said every month, "next months they'll be easier to get"...Right....
Would like to find but not looking for a 1911. I don't need one.
Me and mine stay healthy.
Get closer to my daughter and her family.
Start the action to get rid of those in political office that hurt not help
Help the forum grow. Doesn't have to grow in members necessarily just hear more from members.
Hope to attend The Wood Congress in June in Iowa.(wood carvers)
Learn more about protecting me and mine. (Ready for III Defensive Pistol class, Classes at The Bullet Stop | The Bullet Stop )
Try not to spend away my retirement fund..........................on guns <grin>

Did I say be nicer??

Good stuff there bob!
My goal is less of me, in all aspects of my life. Our American lifestyle encourages the "me" syndrome in our hectic culture. We tend to place self first. I see this daily and in ALL ages, not just the new generation. How rude are people these days? Why? Because it's all about "me". Twitter, Facebook, is all about whats happening in my life (emphasis on MY). Watch TV and see that all commercials tell you how much better your life would be with their product and you deserve it.
I think if we, as Americans, heck, as humans, placed more emphasis on others and less of self, what a great society, world, we'd have. Social media promulgates that style of thought daily, almost by the minute. Next time your at a restaurant or fast food dive listen to what people say when the waiter/cashier says "may I help you". usually the replies is "yea, I want" or "give me"....."I" "me" "my".
Anyway, I'm the kind of guy that still holds doors open for ladies, opens the car door for my wife and says "thank you" when treated courteously by others. . Call it what you want, but usually I get a "thank you" or a smile...usually.IMVHO:smile:

Ditto your comment and your last word, usually? Same here, a lot of times the ladies just walk on thru without a word or nod. That's really ok though. In My world a thank you isn't necessary all the time.
The most social media I get is the Forums and Email. The rest is looking you right in your red eye and apologizing to you for pocking it.

The primary goal for me and my family is to survive. It sounds trite but to me it makes sense. I worked for GM and in a meeting sometime in the '90s the assistant department head was laughing at an article in the news that spoke of Toyota's 2050 plan. He asked how could they have a clue on planning so far out? I responded that they plan on being here! We all know what happened to GM. On the other hand I do not have a 2050 plan because if I am still around then I probably won't know it!

John,
Not to put a damper on things but I think millions of folks are wondering about survival. With all of the negative help we're getting from Big A O and his crowd we may fighting for a slice of bread to eat. Lets leave it on a positive note, he won't be breaking the laws of the land in Three years. All we have to do it make it 3 yrs and pray to God his kind don't get to continue.

HNY again.

I want to get the nerve in my right hip fixed and the catarac in my right eye removed and replace with a good seeing lense. I want a dressed out Remington R1 1911 and I want to be able to buy at least two boxes of ammo with each payday.

Then I pray to God for his forgiveness of We the American People. That We the Ameican People can stop all the Socialist agendas that we've had since FDR's Days and that we've added since. At the top of my list Lord, help We the American People to put a definate end to all the Anti-Constitutional agendas we've had since before and after Obama's Days. Actually Lord, the top of my list is to help us get rid of Obama in a good and proper way. Amen. Period.
