In all honestly, I'm addicted to the purchase. Once I clean and sight one in and play with it for a week or so it gets put in the safe.
Why do we find guns attractive ??
I was wondering why we as a group of gun owners find guns attractive, or are attracted to guns ! Is it that they are fine pieces of functioning machinery, or something that is elegant, purposeful, refined, beautiful, clean, lithe, or blocky as a Glock would be ? They are just there for us to use at our becon call. They don't have headaches, they're never mad at us, and never in a bad mood. Or is it some genetic thing in our chromosomes that makes them so appealing to us. I like the purposeful beauty and function of a fine weapon, like a well made 1911, or the sleek and sexy lines of a Kahr...................

Yeah it's the gratification now kind of thing. I often do the same thing. See a gun that appeals to me.......got to have it. Find a way to buy it, by trading something that came before it. That has now lost its great appeal and goes bye bye............but it's all for a good cause. And I do like a good looking smooth functioning gun. I just can't help myself.............do you get the same feeling.........say yes, I need some validation here !!!!
I've got the craving bad!!! Have almost put my M&P up for sale so I can get a fix!!!
Oh man.........that's funny..........I was kind of thinking of doing the same thing with my k40..........I'm sick !!!!!!
I love every aspect of a firearm: beauty, value, function, symbol of power, American pride(Right to bare arms). We are blessed in this country. Also, they are amazing technological achievements: the fact that we can harness and manipulate small explosions in our hands(or one hand) is just amazing. Controlled chaos. Lol. I love guns!
